These handcrafted fused glass Christmas trees have a hole and ribbon ready for hanging on your Christmas tree or to hang as a suncatcher in your window.
Each tree has been made by hand, firstly each tiny bauble is hand cut and fired, these are made from red transparent and dichroic glass which add a little sparkle . The trees are then decorated with glass paint, powder, glass fragments and the dichroic and red glass balls, They are then fired in the kiln at approximately 800 degrees for 12-14 hours. Once out of the kiln they are clean up and a little murrine glass snowflake is added to the stump of the tree and some hand painted stars. They then go back in the kiln for a second firing. After firing they are cleaned and a ribbon is added ready to adorn any Christmas tree.
The green glass is slightly transparent with a delicate sparkle, they look great in both daylight and at night under a light. Please see the video.
